About CIH 4.0
Central India Hackathon 4.0 (CIH 4.0) is a premier National-Level Deep-Tech Innovation Hackathon jointly organized by Suryodaya College of Engineering & Technology (SCET), Nagpur, and Suryodaya Technology Business Incubation Foundation (STBIF). Hosted in a hybrid format with virtual rounds followed by an intensive 24-hour offline Grand Finale at SCET, CIH 4.0 unites student innovators and developers from recognized institutions across India.
Competing in teams of strictly 4 members, participants will tackle five cutting-edge domains: Advanced AI & Cognitive Systems, Robotics & Automation, Semiconductors & EdgeTech, SpaceTech & Aerospace, and Biotechnology & Life Sciences. Teams will vie for a total prize pool of ₹1,00,000 + Goodies while attempting to establish a record for the Largest Deep-Tech Innovation Hackathon, with official recognition sought from the International Book of Records.

Central India Hackathon 3.0 has been officially recognized by the India Book of Records for achieving maximum participation in an offline SDG-focused hackathon.
A National-Level Milestone
This recognition acknowledges the successful execution of a 24-hour offline hackathon focused on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals:

Registration is open from 1 November to 30 November 2026 on Unstop. Teams (strictly 4 members) select their own Deep-Tech Problem Statement aligned with one of the five technology domains.
Teams prepare their solution presentation using the official CIH 4.0 PPT Template, downloaded directly from the Brief/Case or Download Attachments section on Unstop.

Virtual Round (Idea Presentation)
Shortlisted teams present their proposed solutions virtually from 15 December to 25 December 2026.
Evaluation criteria include innovation, technical feasibility, scalability, and potential real-world impact. Top selected teams advance to the Offline Grand Finale.

Grand Finale (24-Hour Offline Hackathon)
Dates: 22 January to 23 January 2027
Venue: Suryodaya College of Engineering & Technology, Nagpur, Maharashtra.
Grand Finale Duration: 24 Hours of non-stop development.
Activities include team verification, formal inauguration, release of on-the-spot problem statements, 24-hour continuous prototype implementation, expert industry mentorship, final presentations, live demonstrations, jury evaluation, and winner announcements.
